I like to add a drop or two of this amazing serum to the Lavender and Sandalwood Moisturizer. I accidentally broke my bottle and tried to get by without it, but I felt I was missing its added benefits, so I ordered another bottle. I love this amazing Golden Veil Serum. I use it every night alone--I don't mix it with any other cream. It penetrates well into my skin, making my skin feel well-hydrated all night long. Golden Veil Serum is fabulous! I use it everyday now (late spring, almost summer) by itself after cleansing my face. Only 4-5 drops leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, dewy fresh and my skin tone very evenly balanced. This autumn and winter I plan to add a light layer of face cream over it, or mix it into the cream itself. I love the rich golden color of the oil too! Feels like liquid sunshine!

What is the shelf life of your products?
Our tinctures and elixirs are are best used within 3 years. Our balms and oil are best used within 2 years. Our creams and moisturizers are best used 6 months after opening. Using a scoop or wooden craft stick rather than your fingers will keep your cream fresh longer.
What are the particles in my tincture dropper?
Since we make all of our products with whole fresh and dried plants, there may be some small plant particles that remain in the tincture after straining. You may also see some of the concentrated constituents precipitated from the extraction process. Both are perfectly safe and are a sign of the potency and vitality of the extract.
What is the benefit of choosing a glycerite over a tincture?
Glycerites are herbal extracts made with a base of organic flaxseed glycerin. Glycerites are safe for all ages and a wonderful choice for children and those who prefer not to consume alcohol. Glycerin has a very low glycemic index score and is a delicious way to flavor drinks, smoothies and desserts.Â
Why do some of your tinctures taste sweet?
Some of our tincture formulas include herbal glycerites, which add delicious sweet medicine to the blend and balance other plant flavors.
Do I need to refrigerate my products?
None of our products need to be refrigerated. We recommend storing all herbal products in a cool dark place away from direct heat and light to help maintain freshness.
What is the best way to take a tincture?
For best bioavailability, tinctures are taken in a little warm water after or in between meals This will also dilute the taste and the alcohol. Our Better Bitters and other bitter tasting digestive formulas are best taken before meals to invigorate digestion.
Are any of your products suitable for children?
Our glycerites, teas, balms, creams, oils, and bug spray are safe for children when used as directed.
Can your formulas be taken together?
