Learn how to recognize the elements - water, air, fire, earth - in the appearance of plants and their medicinal properties. See the plant world and your own body as a part of nature's cycles and dive deep into the connections between all parts in the wheel of life.
This is a retreat for mid-level herbalists who are looking to deepen their knowledge and connection with medicinal herbs through teachings of plant elements and gestures.
Samuel Perry is a practicing clinical herbalist who is dedicated to giving students a direct experience of herbal energetics using simple intuitive methods. As herbalists we practice looking deeply into the patterns of the natural world. Sam’s method offers a way to receive, retain and reflect on this vast amount of information and develop a fluid herbal practice based on direct observations.
Susanna Raeven, herbalist and owner of Raven Crest Botanicals, will co-host and share her plant knowledge and wise women teachings with you.

Samuel Perry:
Sam was trained at Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbal Medicine, where he now works as an Assistant Teacher. He is thrilled to be the farm manager at Raven Crest Botanicals where he has the precious opportunity to engage in the world of plant medicine directly.
Susanna Raeven:
Community herbalist and owner of Raven Crest Botanicals, Susanna holds in her heart a deep connection to the plant world. She lives and breathes with the plants in her garden and studies Earth centered spiritual practices and cultures. She offers herbal consultations, leads plant walks, is a guest teacher at Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism and hosts herbal retreats.

The peaceful and beautifully decorated Mullein House has shared rooms with two or three beds available.
